Naina, a city dweller, felt overwhelmed with the monotony of her urban existence. On a whim, she decided to book a retreat in the Himalayas, drawn by tales of its mesmerizing beauty and serenity. As she packed, a beautifully crafted bottle caught her eye - a recent gift from a dear friend, an eau de parfum named "Whispering Trails."

Upon her arrival, she felt the cool mountain mist gracing her neck, a sensation she hadn’t felt in years. Out of habit, she reached for her bottle and sprayed the fragrance on her wrist. As the scent diffused, notes of citrus and rosemary intertwined, capturing the very essence of the mountain air. It felt like nature had been bottled, just for her.

Each day, she’d embark on walks, losing herself amidst the mountain paths. With every step, she felt a connection, an awakening. The musky undertone of sandalwood in her perfume seemed to mirror the wisdom of the mountains, guiding her in silent communion with herself.

Hamdah London A Walk In The Mountains What an opening! Plenty of earthy and minty, strong camphor-like rosemary, along with a sweet orange note to soften it and make it more presentable. It immediately paints a picture of standing at a mountain side, with a fresh and icy cold breeze hitting you, surrounded by greenery, that’s damp and rich. I absolutely love this opening! As it develops and settles, this amazing green, spicy and earthy/woody patchouli comes through. If you know me at all, I absolutely love patchouli! And here, it’s my kind of patchouli! Once it’s dried down you’re left with this musky sweet sandalwood note that’s clean and subtle. A Walk In The Mountains was instantly my favourite from the four. They smashed this one out of the park!
